Perico Island Tour
Perico
Island is a five mile island located in the local bay waters. On this
tour you will be paddleing around the largest estuary in Manatee
county. Protected by the mangroves, there is a natural tidal lake
great for catching fish and bird watching. Some other features on this
tour include possible dolphin and manatee sightings.
Other stops on this trip may include a picnic or shelling on
the barrier island named Gilligan's island.

Sister Keys Tour
Located
just south of Anna Maria Island is a terrific place to paddle called
Sister Keys. The Keys offer a slightly different view of the water.
Here you will be paddleing through shallow grassflats and deeper bay
waters where fishermen love to hook redfish, snook, and speckled
trout. On this trip you also have the option of gulf paddling.
Traveling through the Longboat Key pass, you can easily pull you kayak
up onto the sandy beach of Beer Can Island. This Island
boast home to great shelling and nice spots for
picnicing.

Bayfront Park
With
the Skyway bridge as you backdrop, Bayfront Park is a popular place to
kayak. Leaving from the sandy beaches of the park, you can paddle in
the calm bay waters. Two popular destinations on this tour are Passage
Key and Egmont Key. As a protected bird sanctuary, Passage Key is an
small sand bar perfect for paddleing around. Just farther north lies
Egmont Key. This Key boasts home to old fort ruins, large land turtles,
and great places to snorkle and picnic. Back at the park, bathroom
facilities, playground and picnic tables are available for a fun day at
the park.

Grassy Point Mangrove Tour
A Hideaway Tour for any Weather!
Under the cover of a mangrove canopy, you twist and turn your way to
hidden tidal lakes, losing time and sense of direction. Luckily there
is only one way out of this protected time warp. One might encounter
fiddler crabs and different bird species in their natural habitat.
