Shawn Duytschaver has owned Native Rentals for fifteen years. A Native to Anna Maria Island, Shawn knows the turraine like the back of his hand. His experience and skill will help new paddlers feel comfortable with their surroundings and at ease in the boats. He is married to Julia and they have a 3 children, Lola Mariln and FInn!    

Shawn qualified for the National S.K.A. fishing tournament in his Ocean Kayak, and also qualified for the Pro division of S.K.A. for the 2005 fishing season!!!

The key to Kayak Fishing is to be a student of all natures, actions, and the K.I.S.S.  (keep it simple stupid) philosophy is paramount. Do that and you can hold your own with the best competitive fisherman in the world using speed boats and rocket science!
